BALTIC 112 | LIARA
Built by world-renowned Finnish shipyard Baltic Yachts, LIARA is a high-performance carbon sailing yacht combining advanced engineering, refined design and genuine bluewater capability.
Constructed entirely in lightweight carbon composite, she was conceived as a true dual-purpose superyacht, capable of delivering competitive racing performance while remaining a comfortable and highly capable world-cruising platform.
Her exterior design was developed by renowned naval architect Malcolm McKeon, known for creating some of the world’s most successful performance sailing yachts, while the interior was designed by Adam Lay, whose work emphasizes clean contemporary styling and refined materials.
Her design emphasizes efficiency, safety and ease of operation. Dedicated stowage for sails and running rigging, together with highly optimized deck systems, allow the yacht to transition quickly between cruising and regatta configuration with minimal preparation.
The protected cockpit features deep bulwarks for security under sail and a removable hard bimini with sliding sunroof, offering shade and comfort during cruising while maintaining the ability to strip weight when racing. Large curved glass sliding doors connect the cockpit seamlessly with the raised deck saloon, creating an open and light-filled living space.
Technically sophisticated yet elegantly understated, LIARA incorporates a retractable propulsion system to minimize drag while sailing and a telescopic keel, allowing her to combine deep-draft performance sailing with access to shallower cruising grounds.
The result is a highly versatile sailing yacht equally suited to competitive regattas or extended global cruising.
