ALLOY YACHTS | KOKOTEA
Built by the renowned New Zealand shipyard Alloy Yachts and delivered in 2000, the 40.3m KOKOTEA is a striking sailing yacht that combines proven ocean-going capability with refined onboard comfort.
Designed by celebrated naval architect Ed Dubois, KOKOTEA represents the seventh Dubois yacht constructed by Alloy Yachts, reflecting a successful collaboration between designer and shipyard known for producing elegant, performance-oriented sailing yachts.
Constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, she offers the strength and durability required for global cruising while maintaining excellent sailing performance. Built to ABS class, KOKOTEA has been designed and engineered for extended ocean passages and long-range exploration.
Her sophisticated interior, created by the acclaimed studio Redman Whiteley Dixon, accommodates up to eight guests in four comfortable cabins. The standout full-beam owner’s suite includes a private office and spacious en suite, while two additional double cabins and a smaller double cabin provide flexible guest accommodation.
The yacht’s layout offers a variety of elegant living spaces. The deck saloon features panoramic views and relaxed lounge seating, while a refined dining area on the lower deck provides a welcoming setting for formal meals. A generous covered cockpit aft creates an inviting outdoor space for alfresco dining, sunset drinks or simply enjoying life under sail.
Powered by a Caterpillar C18 engine and supported by two 65kW Onan generators, KOKOTEA offers a cruising range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles, making her well suited to extended voyages between remote cruising grounds.
Extensively maintained and upgraded, including significant refit work and a full hull repaint since 2021, KOKOTEA presents as a well-cared-for example of a pedigree Alloy Yachts sailing yacht.
